Good video, but your not totally correct on your assumptions. First off, a background in manufacturing and supply chain logistics is needed to understand how products come to market. it's not uncommon for a $25 item and a $250 item to be manufactured by the same company in China. A products price is commanded by its brand recognition and marketing. A good example is a product I have manufactured, i sell for $47.99 and the same item by another company is sold for $150. Same parts, same manufacturer, different brand names. Happens every single second, all the time. Second, just because its made in china doesn't make it cheap. Chinese can make very good quality or very cheap quality, which is dictated by the buyer when hitting a price point to manufacture at, and also dictated by the consumers as to what they are willing to pay. Often times, here in the USA, we go by the motto, " whats the cheapest you got?" Don't hate on entrepreneurs who are making good markups on a product they found, marketed, and sold for high markups. Thats how business works. The echo is not a scam, its just not the best priced unit out there and is killed by their poor customer service. A scam is someone knowingly selling you something that does not work, and you said yourself you believed that hydrogen water bottles work. For those who commented saying they wanted one made in the usa, good luck, lol. Im going to say 99% chance nobody makes 100% of the parts in the USA to put this together. Read your labels on products and your going to find we produce very little of what we consume. I have been in manufacturing since 2001 and have imported from numerous countries worldwide. I also manufacture here in the USA and know the struggles with trying to bring an item to market while competing with imported products.

Markups are part of regular business activity to grow a business and every business is just knowledge or time arbitrage. So is everything a rip off or a scam? Ordering from China is never as simple as you’re making it seem. Likely you would end up with products just like echo water because they focus on lowest cost manufacturing. I sell the same exact bottle you linked to and we upgraded the internals to increase product efficiency and offer great customer resources. So we charge more. Why is that a crime? You sound like a loonie. I read the entire lawsuit you posted about Gary, there’s nothing in it - he was sued for signing a guarantee he shouldn’t have been responsible for. Also the mugshot you posted isn’t official and is not a government supported website meaning - as it says literally on that website. There are NO unbiased studies and you need to be able to spot bad science. #1. There is a .gov study where all listed authors are indian, and this should be a red flag. #2. Correlation does not mean causation! #3. No specifics about the mechanism or proposed mechanism of action. Just correlation to say drinking this equals this BS. #4. They talk about hydrogen being a small molecule....so is water, so what. #5. They ignore fundamental physics. Hydrogen binds to hydrogen filling its valance and stabilizing the molecule, it will not want to react or stay suspended in solution unless under incredibly high pressure and low temperature, in which case you have liquid hydrogen. There is the possibility of dissolved gasses in solution, but it would typically be carbon dioxide forming carbonic acid, and this is because atmospheric pressure forcing interaction at the terminal face of a plane of water, and oxygen in water having 4 available binding pair. If the paper proposed a mechanism of action, that could be verified in a lab, thats a different story.
